About us

Get to know more about our story

The company was registered in 2020, a few months after the announcement of Covid 19 as a global pandemic. We realized that, as a country, we had been tossed into unfamiliar territory. Schools were being shut down, many had to work from home, hotels and other social places we gathered were no more, and matatus could only carry half their capacity. As a result, many businesses and occupations, which were a source of livelihood for many Kenyans, were no more. This was a cause for alarm.

It all started when a big government institution tasked one of the core founders to head a psychosocial support group. This is where the magnitude of the damage Covid 19 had brought to our country was revealed. We were overwhelmed. Many families were breaking. A good number have lost their only means of livelihood. Stress and Anxiety level were on an all-time high. Chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, cancer, blood pressure) were rising. Inhumanity surged as every man’s survival instinct kicked in. It was a disaster.

After the assignment, we felt what we had done was not enough. We had to do something sustainable to prepare us for the future if a similar tragedy occurred. That is how Harmony Fountain was born. Our desire is to see a society that can manage stress and negotiate conflicts appropriately. We are self-funded. We use some of the proceeds from providing our services to impact society through psychoeducation, mental health advocacy, and other outreach programs.

Our vision is to see a country where stress and anxiety levels, relationship breakups, chronic diseases, and suicidal ideations, among other mental health issues, are reduced to the lowest percentage possible. We look forward to a stable society where full of integration can be realized and humanity restored.

Vision

To inspire humankind to coexist in a friendly and humane way.

Mission

To equip our clients with the skills of stress management and conflict resolution, so they can be empowered to be ambassadors of harmonious coexistence.
